The Doman Family & Yadlamalka Pastoral

Deep-rooted pastoral tradition, forward-thinking land management.
OUR STORY

Stewards of the land since the 1890s

With a heritage stretching back to the 1890s, Yadlamalka Pastoral Company stands as a premier name in South Australian agriculture. Owned and operated by the Doman family, the company blends deep pastoral tradition with modern, sustainable land management.
Brothers Andrew and Tom Doman have grown the enterprise from its foundational hub at Yadlamalka Station into one of the region’s most dynamic agricultural operations — roughly 350,000 hectares of premium grazing country in the heart of the Flinders Ranges and Far North, run as a single corridor of country.
We specialise in hardy, high-yield Dorper sheep and premium Angus cattle, bred to thrive in the unique conditions of the South Australian Arid Lands.
HOW WE WORK

A quality-first approach to arid-land farming

Superior Livestock

Hardy, high-yield Dorper sheep and premium Angus cattle, specifically bred for the South Australian Arid Lands.

Water & Infrastructure

A station is only as good as its water and fencing. State-of-the-art water systems and modern infrastructure keep stock safe and operations efficient, even in the driest seasons.

Environmental Stewardship

Conservative grazing and regenerative land management. We don’t just farm the land — we protect it for the next century.

A 21st-century Australian station

Traditional pastoralism, modern technology, and a lasting commitment to the local community.
